Annie Chavarin, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner at RSMC
Annie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She received her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then furthered her education at California State University San Marcos, once again finishing at the top of her class with a 4.0 GPA. Before following her passion of working in her current field of fertility, Annie worked in several medical settings including emergency/urgent care, progressive care, and telemetry.
Annie began her nursing career as an RN in the Progressive Care Unit at Banner Gateway Medical Center. She then had the opportunity to serve as an IVF Coordinator at Bloom Reproductive Institute, where she first developed her interest in fertility. She had grown up locally in Escondido, California with her own close-knit family, and was excited by the idea of helping other families grow. She would later go on to spend four years working in the Telemetry department at Palomar Medical Center until she graduated from California State University San Marcos. After graduating, Annie was finally able to pursue her true passion of working as a Nurse Practitioner in the fertility field at Reproductive Sciences Medical Center.
Annie brings a unique blend of technical aptitude, sound decision-making, and emotional intelligence in a patient-focused approach. Always looking to better herself and never taking shortcuts, Annie continually strives to provide the highest level of support to her patients.
As Christina Feist-Heilmeier, RN stated in her book Nurses Are from Heaven, “Every nurse was drawn to nursing because of a desire to care, to serve, or to help.” Annie not only exemplifies this statement but pushes herself each day to be the best version of herself and exceed her patients’ expectations, providing world-class service and support.
Annie is committed to excellence while delivering high-quality, compassionate, person-centered care. She has demonstrated the ability to lead by example early in her career and has been recognized several times for her efforts through organizational “top performance” citations including the DAISY award. She is very interested in new research on Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to stimulate cellular rejuvenation and blood flow, naturally, and potentially enhancing fertility.
